定番のシャツアイテムを今回は2種類(リバティとチェック)のプリントを使用して仕上げました。リバティプリントはイギリスのロンドン発祥のリバティ社のテキスタイルブランドのプリントです。
 
リバティプリントは色により使用している柄が異なります。
赤系と黒系は、"EMMY"という名の小花柄で、19世紀の小花柄の見本帳をベースに1970年初めて制作された柄で、その後1992年に復刻した柄を使用しています。
 
ブルー系は"MELLY"という名のプリントで
2010年A/Wコレクションのテーマ"日本"
から生まれた柄の"Pepper"を元に作られた手描きの現代風の抽象画です。
"ボロッケスク"という絵画技法を使い、上品な総柄の繰り返し模様に仕上げた柄です。
 
チェック柄は3色全て異なるカラーを使用、手描き風の水彩画タッチの格子柄で涼やかな仕上がりの柄です。
 
どちらのプリントも綿ローン素材で
仕上げに凹凸のある加工をしていますので
肌触りがサラッとして清涼感のある仕上がりの素材です。
 
この2種類の素材を使って前身頃にフリルを花のように縫い付け、カジュアルでありながら華やかなシャツアイテムに仕上がっています。

This classic shirt is finished with two prints: Liberty and check. Liberty print is a print from the textile brand Liberty, originating in London, England.
 
The Liberty print features different patterns depending on the color.
The red and black versions feature a small floral pattern called "EMMY," first produced in 1970 based on a 19th-century floral sample book and later reissued in 1992.
 
The blue version features a print called "MELLY," a hand-painted, modern abstract painting inspired by the "Pepper" pattern, which was inspired by the "Japan" theme of the 2010 A/W collection.
The pattern is finished using the "Boroccoesque" painting technique, creating an elegant, all-over repeating pattern.
 
The check pattern features three different colors, creating a cool, hand-painted, watercolor-style grid pattern.
 
Both prints are made from cotton lawn and have a textured finish, making them smooth and cool to the touch.
 
Using these two types of material, ruffles are sewn onto the front in the shape of flowers, creating a casual yet glamorous shirt.
